Kathmandu Chadstone Terrible Customer Treatment I recently visited the Kathmandu store in Chadstone on Thursday, January 11th, with the intent of refunding a water bottle I had purchased just two weeks prior. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Upon arriving at the store, I approached the counter with my receipt in hand, expecting a straightforward refund process. To my surprise, the manager, an older white woman, appeared to be disinterested and refused to process my refund, despite the fact that I had a valid receipt for the purchase. This encounter left me perplexed and frustrated as I couldn't comprehend why a simple refund request, supported by a legitimate receipt, would be met with such resistance. I felt that my concerns were dismissed without any reasonable explanation or attempt to address the issue. The overall tone of the interaction made me question the professionalism and customer-centric approach of the store. It is disappointing to encounter such lacklustre service, especially when customers are simply seeking to exercise their rights within the bounds of the store's policies. It is important to note that I do not wish to make baseless accusations, but the experience did leave me feeling disheartened. I believe it's crucial for any establishment to treat all customers fairly and with respect, regardless of their background or appearance. I hope that this incident was an isolated one and does not reflect the values of Kathmandu as a whole. My visit to Kathmandu Chadstone on this particular occasion was marked by a regrettable encounter, and I sincerely hope that the store can address such issues to ensure a more positive experience for all customers in the future.

I was attended to by Jason in the shoe department. He couldn't be more helpful assisting with styles and sizes but happy to engage in pleasant conversation. With his manner and expertise he must be applauded as with the staff at the registers (who were equally helpful and pleasant). And this is coming from a person who used to own retail shoe stores. Well done Kathmandu Chadstone and Southland as I've never been disappointed with the level of service, you offer.

Ideally located at Chadstone Shopping centre, Kathmandu offers a broad variety of clothing specifically made and designed for outdoor adventures, camping or travel. Considering the high quality of goods, prices are reasonable. The Staff are friendly and open to provide appropriate information to customers in regards to goods on sale.

Went into Katmandu on Tuesday night, and my family and I were served by Tommy who should be the face of Katmandu. What a breathe of fresh air! Just when I thought customer service was out the door…. In walked tommy….he was BEYOND helpful and very kind and assisted us with all of our question and queries. Well done Tommy! Look forward to seeing you soon.

My husband and I had a awful experience. I called the store to put a jacket on hold but once my husband arrived there, no one knew about it. What's worst the people working there just left him there waiting, a guy even asked him what he needed and then just left him waiting and did not get back to him. Only after my husband insisted several times despite their lack of service that the manager finally found it. Please review your on hold process, it was a very dissapointing experience.
